The Farmakander Lunch Lecture will take place on Thursday June 1 from 12:00 till 13:30. 

If we do what we did, we get what we got;
In Friesland, pharmacists have succeeded in administering corona vaccinations themselves. To this day, pharmacists are not allowed to administer intramuscularly. Although they have managed to legally administer as pharmacists.
Key ingredients for this success were:
- Under pressure, everything becomes liquid
- "I've never done it before, so I think I can do it"
During this lunch lecture, pharmacist Rogier Hilbers will take you through how, as a young pharmacist, he managed administer vaccines himself. He talks about who the key players were, the zeitgeist in which this took place and that change and innovation require a lot of courage. Especially since he and his colleagues were probing domain thinking.

As a pharmacist, I have a heart for my patients. Where as pharmacists we used to focus on preparing prescriptions, nowadays the emphasis is on the conversation with the patient. With Farmakander we make a difference by using pharmaceutical knowledge to make the patient's life as pleasant as possible. Together we work towards a healthy future. The maximum number of participants for the lunch lecture is 40 persons. If more than 40 persons want to participate, a draw will take place on May 25.
