On thursday the 9th of january the ‘Senior Symposium’ will take place from 13:00 until 17:00 in the Faberzaal. A free lunch will be served in 3214.0003C (Hallway in front of the Keuningzaal) from 12:15. 

The theme of the symposium will be ‘Performance enhancing drugs, from students to sports’.

This afternoon the following topics will be covered:

• Gene-doping
• ​Using ketone drinks to improve exercise in patients with muscle diseases
• Cognition enhancers and ritalin
• Trade and analysis of illegal performance enhancing substances

Het thema van het symposium is ‘Prestatie verhogende middelen, van student tot sport’

De onderwerpen die deze middag aan bod komen zijn:

• Gendoping
• Het gebruik van ketonendrank om het bewegen van patienten met spierziekten te verbeteren
• Cognition enhancers en ritalin
• ​Handel in en analyse van illegale prestatie verhogende middelen
