Op 22 april van 12:45 tot 14:15 vindt de Themalunchlezing plaats.

Het thema van deze lunchlezing is CAR T-celtherapie. Dit is een baanbrekende nieuwe vorm van kankertherapie waarbij de eigen T-cellen van patiënten worden aangepast om de kanker aan te vallen. We zijn verheugd drie specialisten van het Universitair Medisch Centrum Groningen (UMCG) te mogen verwelkomen, die werken aan deze nieuwe kankertherapie. Dr. W.W.H. Roeloffzen en drs. J.A. van Doesum, beiden hematologen, zullen spreken over de toepassing van CAR T-celtherapie bij diffuus grootcellig B-cellymfoom en multipel myeloom. Daarnaast zal dr. B. Gareb, ziekenhuisapotheker, het productieproces van CAR T-cellen bespreken. We hopen jullie allemaal te zien bij deze Themalunchlezing!

De lunch start om 12:45 en het symposium zelf begint om 13:15.
Tijdens deze Themalunchlezing wordt een lunch aangeboden voor €3,-.

Er zijn 50 plaatsen beschikbaar. Voor studenten die PO of ProPharm 1 of 2 volgen, wordt 50% van de plaatsen gereserveerd. Als de andere 50% niet wordt gevuld, kunnen deze plaatsen ook onder andere studenten worden verdeeld. Als meer mensen zich aanmelden dan er plaatsen zijn, zal er op 15 april een loting plaatsvinden.

On April 22 from 12:45 to 14:15, the Themed Lunch Lecture will take place.

The theme of this Lunch Lecture is CAR T-cell therapy. This is an outstanding new form of cancer therapy in which patients’ own T-cells are modulated to target the cancer. We are thrilled to welcome three specialists from the University Medical Center Groningen (UMCG) who are working on this novel cancer therapy. Dr. W.W.H. Roeloffzen and drs. J.A. van Doesum, both hematologists, will talk about the application of CAR T-cell therapy in diffuse large B-cell lymphoma and multiple myeloma. Furthermore, we will have dr. B. Gareb, hospital pharmacist, to discuss the production process of CAR T-cells. We hope to see you all at this edition of the Themed Lunch Lecture!

The lunch will start at 12:45 and the symposium itself will start at 13:15. 
During this Themed Lunch Lecture, lunch will be provided for a maximum of €3,-.

There are 50 spots availible. For the students that follow PO or ProPharm 1 or 2, 50% of the spots will be reserved, if the other 50% is not filled these spots can also be divided. If more people sign up, a draw will be held on 15 april
