Pharmaciae Sacrum

G.F.S.V. “Pharmaciae Sacrum” (abbreviated as P.S.) is the study association for Pharmacy and pharmacy-related studies in Groningen. Pharmaciae Sacrum, Latin for "the sacred of Pharmacy", has grown since its founding in 1881 into an association where many students enjoy spending their university years and can develop themselves outside of the curriculum. Additionally, the association is the oldest study association in Groningen and the second oldest in the Netherlands.

Pharmaciae Sacrum is part of the national pharmaceutical student association K.N.P.S.V. (Royal Dutch Pharmaceutical Students’ Association). The board room of Pharmaciae Sacrum is located in the basement of building 3213, part of the building for Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy, and Human Movement Sciences at Antonius Deusinglaan 1.

The association’s mission is to represent the interests of Pharmacy students in both social and educational areas, thereby providing our members with the tools to prepare for entry into the professional field. To achieve this, Pharmaciae Sacrum organizes multiple activities that offer members a chance to develop themselves. The vision of the association is to connect members, to offer conviviality, to stimulate personal and professional development and to create awareness within the pharmaceutical field.
