Op 12 maart van 12:30 tot 17:00 vindt het Middagsymposium plaats.

Het overkoepelende thema van het Middagsymposium dit jaar is Neurologie en Psychiatrie. De voorzitter van het symposium is A.J.C. Slooter, psychiater en voormalig neuroloog bij het UMCG. Hij zal de verschillende specialismen samenbrengen en ons meenemen in de onderwerpen van het Middagsymposium: bewegingsstoornissen, therapie met psychedelica en medicatiereviews bij patiënten met de ziekte van Parkinson. Vier sprekers zullen elk vanuit hun eigen expertise een van deze onderwerpen belichten.

De lunch start om 12:30 en het symposium zelf begint om 13:00.

Tijdens dit symposium wordt lunch aangeboden voor €3,-. Vermeld in de opmerkingen of je allergieën hebt.

Er zijn 110 plaatsen beschikbaar. Voor studenten die PO of ProPharm 1 of 2 volgen, wordt 50% van de plaatsen gereserveerd. Indien deze 50% niet volledig wordt gevuld, kunnen deze plaatsen ook worden vrijgegeven. Als er meer aanmeldingen dan beschikbare plaatsen zijn, zal er op woensdag 5 maart worden geloot.

On March the 12th from 12:30 to 17:00, the Afternoon Symposium will take place.

The overarching theme of this year’s Afternoon Symposium is Neurology and Psychiatry. The chairman of the symposium is prof. dr. A.J.C. Slooter, psychiatrist and former neurologist at the UMCG. He will bring the specialties together and introduce us to the subjects of the Afternoon Symposium: movement disorders, therapy with psychedelics and medication reviews in Parkinson’s disease patients. Four speakers will each touch upon one subject matter of their expertise.

The lunch will start at 12:30 and the symposium itself on 13:00.

During this Symposium lunch will be provided for €3,-. Note in the remarks whether you have allergies.

There are 110 spots available. For the students that follow PO or ProPharm 1 or 2, 50% of the spots will be reserved, if the other 50% is not filled these spots can also be divided. If more people sign up, a draw will be held on Wednesday, March 5.
