Dear members of P.S.,

The moment you’ve all been waiting for has arrived: the destination of this year’s Foreign Trip has been revealed! This year, we are heading south to Belgium, where we will explore Brussels and Leuven. Our trip will start on Friday, April 17th, and we will return to Groningen on Monday, April 20th. We will be travelling together by bus.

We will kick off our trip on Friday with a visit to GSK Waver, a company that plays an important role in the global production of vaccines. After this educational start, it is time for some fun in the evening with Prison Island midgetgolf.

On Saturday, we will fully dive into student life in Leuven. We will start the day with a sport activity at KU Leuven, followed by a visit to the apothecary halls in the city centre. In the afternoon, we will head to Bierbeek to visit a local village brewery, where we will learn more about the brewing process (and of course do some tasting).

Sunday will be all about culture and relaxation. We will visit the pharmacy museum and explore Brussels during a sightseeing tour through the Jubelpark. There will be plenty of free time to discover the city on your own, before we end the day in the best possible way: with a karaoke night!

On Monday, we will start the day with a university visit at KU Leuven, followed by a Crazy 88 through Leuven. After this final activity, we will get back on the bus to Groningen, where we can look back on an unforgettable weekend.
